I'm a freelance writer currently based in Toronto. I grew up in Campbell River, a coastal community on Northern Vancouver Island, and I studied at Carleton University in Ottawa, where I earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Arts degree in English. Since then I've written extensively for interactive properties, including websites, games and cross-platform television projects. My work has also appeared in print publications including Taddle Creek, The Toronto Star, Kiss Machine and Broken Pencil.
